Page 13: Possession and Demonstratives
A. Possession
Hebrew uses a construct state, also known as “Smichut”, to express possession and a range of other relationships between two nouns. This section will introduce the structure of Smichut and provide plenty of practice exercises.
B. Demonstratives
This part of the lesson will introduce demonstrative pronouns (this, that) and demonstrative adjectives (this book, that cat). As these forms change depending on gender and number, it will be essential to provide examples and exercises for each category.
