A Site for Recovering Mormons
This site is dedicated to all those of the LDS faith that learned to much about the truth of the Church and had to walk away…
Hello my name is David!
And I am a recovering Mormon!
MormonLandings
A Safe Place for Those Leaving Mormonism
You’re not crazy. You’re not alone. And you’re not broken.
MormonLandings exists for those who were part of the LDS Church and, after learning more—sometimes much more than expected—found themselves unable to stay. Many who arrive here didn’t want to leave. They were searching for truth, answers, or clarity… and the cost of that search changed everything.
Leaving Mormonism often isn’t just leaving a church.
It can mean losing friends.
Losing family relationships.
Losing a spouse.
Losing your community, identity, and sense of certainty—sometimes all at once.
That kind of loss leaves real scars.
We understand that pain. Many of us have lived it.
This site is here for those who carry those wounds—the ones who tried to be honest, faithful, and sincere, and paid a heavy price for it. If you’ve ever felt like walking away was like losing a loved one, but with no funeral, no comfort, and no permission to grieve… you’re in the right place.
What You’ll Find Here
MormonLandings is built to offer:
- Understanding without judgment
- Community for those who feel isolated
- Resources for healing, faith, and rebuilding
- Honest discussion about truth, loss, and recovery
Our goal isn’t to pressure you into another system or replace one church with another. It’s to help you breathe again, think clearly, and move forward—at your own pace.
There Is Life After Mormonism
Leaving can feel like everything collapsed behind you. But your story isn’t over.
Healing is possible.
Faith can be rebuilt—or rediscovered.
Hope can return.
You don’t have to do this alone anymore.
Welcome to MormonLandings.

“Truth cost you much, but not your future—and God has not abandoned you.”
“Truth may have cost you dearly, and what broke you does not define you—God did not bring you this far to abandon you now.”
